12 Months to Launch: A Future Worth Anticipating

As you walk the halls of schools over the next couple of weeks, you will see a range of emotions on display. Some kids are charged with excitement for new opportunities, and others are weighed down by apprehension from the ambiguity of what lies ahead.

This month marks just ONE year until our projected launch.

This time next fall, we want families to be filled with eager anticipation for a new beginning at Christ Lutheran High School. Starting something new is exciting in so many ways. With new beginnings comes renewed hope. We get a clean slate to choose inspiring leaders, define a rich educational model, and foster a Christ-centered culture that will influence positive outcomes for our future Soaring Eagles.

Starting something new also means stepping into the unknown. As we navigate new beginnings, we will undoubtedly be confronted with unanswered questions, unclear outcomes, and a lack of proven paths forward. Pursuing uncharted territory will inevitably require courage to learn and adapt to unfamiliar experiences, as well as a willingness to embrace new relationships, traditions, and routines.

So how do we harness a spirit of joy amidst the anticipation?

Be strong and courageous. The Lord your God goes before you and will be with you; He will neither leave you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31:8)

As Christians, we have the privilege of navigating this journey with the knowledge that God is holding the reins. He has prepared the way for us; He is walking alongside us, and we can be confident that “he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.” (Philippians 1:6)

Confidence in the journey

God is at work through the leaders at Christ Lutheran High School. We are striving diligently to cultivate an ever-growing community of students who confidently, courageously, and compassionately make lasting, positive impacts on the lives of those they encounter. We are committed to pursuing this vision through the following strategies:

  • Provide a supportive, caring, and nurturing Christ-centered environment

  • Equip students for lifelong discipleship and service

  • Partner with parents in the Christian formation of students

  • Maintain accreditation standards consistent with NLSA expectations

  • Operate in a financially sustainable and responsible manner

  • Maintain faithful Lutheran identity, holding fast to the Scriptures

New beginnings are exciting — but they require courage, patience, and a willingness to embrace the unknown. Through diligent prayer and persistent effort, we can be confident that God is equipping us to prepare students to be the servant leaders God calls them to be in all walks of life.
